Pedro Martinez reeled off a total of 12 strikeouts as the Langley Farm Team
beat the Dublin Pubcrawlers by a score of 5 to 2.
Martinez(6-3) escaped virtually unscathed against the Dublin hitters. He
didn't allow much, just 4 hits and 2 walks in 8 and 1/3 innings. Langley
banged out 7 on the afternoon.
The loss was charged to Jamey Wright(2-7). 'He was really impressive today,'
Wright said of his counterpart. 'Our guys were just swinging at air.'
